For International Women’s Day 2026, we are delighted to feature our Caroline McLaughlin, Partner in the Litigation Department, from our Sligo Office.
She advises on Litigation at all levels to include District Court, Circuit Court and High Court, specialising in Personal Injury Litigation including Road Traffic Accidents, Catastrophic Injury, Fatal Injury actions, Accidents at work and public liability claims. She also advises on Defamation, Equity Litigation and Debt Collection for both Private and Corporate clients.
Before making Partner in 2018, Caroline served her traineeship with Callan Tansey after joining the firm in April 2004 and was appointed as an Associate in 2013.
Caroline has served as president of the Sligo Solicitors Bar Association (SSBA) since her election to the post in 2024, and is a Member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, the Irish Women Lawyers Association and the Donegal Women in Business Network.
