Tara McGroarty joined our Sligo office in 2026 as a Medical Negligence Solicitor.
As part of her training with VP McMullin Solicitors LLP in her native Donegal, Tara worked on defence litigation cases on behalf of the State Claims Agency.
Tara has experience working in cases involving delayed diagnoses, wrongful deaths, women’s health, maternal and birth injuries, falls and injuries in healthcare settings, and Decision-Making Representation Orders.
Tara attended Scoil Chartha Naofa National School and Coláiste na Carraige, before studying at the University of Galway and then pursuing a Master of Laws at Queen’s University Belfast.
Tara is focused on obtaining the best possible outcome for her clients, while making them feel at ease and understanding the legal process.
