Orlagh was appointed Partner and Head of our Family Law Department in October 2022.

Orlagh has extensive experience in all areas of family law to include negotiating agreements in childcare, financial and property issues arising on separation and Divorce.

She advises on all issues involving children such as Access and Maintenance. She has considerable experience in both the Issue and Defence of Domestic Violence applications.

Orlagh is fully aware of how stressful Separation can be for clients. She prides herself in giving practical legal advice to assist the client navigate this most difficult journey. Her aim is to support her clients to make it as stress free as possible for them, while ensuring they achieve their goals.

Orlagh also works in our Medical Negligence Department.

Since 2014 she has handled many high-profile cases dealing with issues ranging from Obstetrics & Gynaecology including Cervical Check, Cardiology, Orthopaedics, Accident & Emergency Negligence, Surgical Negligence, Neurology, Misdiagnosis, Delayed Diagnosis, Fatal Injuries together with representing clients at Inquests.

Orlagh served her traineeship with CE Callan & Co (now Callan Tansey Solicitors) after joining the firm in April, 2007.

Orlagh completed a Diploma in Healthcare Law from the Law Society of Ireland.
