“We’ve lost someone so precious.”
In July 2015 Melissa Patterson was just 18 years old when she was hit by a car and killed while out walking on the N60. So far in 2017, 12 people have died so far on our roads, seven of those deaths have been pedestrians. We spoke to Melissa’s mother Carmel and her twin sister Belinda who are appealing to the Government to reduce speed limits and for people to be more vigilant on the roads and slow down.
