Robert is a native of Grange, Curraghboy, Co. Roscommon. He is an Associate Solicitor in our Litigation Department and is based primarily in our Boyle office.

Robert was educated at Lismoyle NS, CBS Roscommon and NUI Galway from where he graduated with a B.A. (Hons) in 2004 and an L.L.B. (Hons) in 2005.

He was admitted to the roll of Solicitors in January 2011, having served his apprenticeship with Hugh J. Campbell & Company Solicitors in Athlone, Co. Westmeath. He worked for eight years post qualification with Hugh J. Campbell & Company where he gained a wealth of experience in General Practice and Litigation. He joined Callan Tansey Solicitors in  March 2019. He specialises mainly in the areas of personal injuries litigation and civil litigation, having been involved in all types of personal injury cases including accidents at work, road traffic accidents, assaults and fatal injury actions. He has extensive experience in litigation in a number of areas to include professional negligence, contract disputes, boundary disputes, probate litigation and the defence of road traffic prosecutions, having represented clients before the District Court, Circuit Court and High Court.
